They should get a 3, but I am giving them a 4 because I love this slider concept restaurant. Service was a solid 1 start; food was a solid 5 star. The owner acknowledges the short comings of the staff and is working to correct them. I highly recommend the meatball sliders - perfect!

Came in for sliders and fries which were very good. We received great service from 2 different guys working the floor. We were checked up on several times and a good little chat with one of the guys. They made us feel right at home. I will defiantly return here on my next trip to the keys.

So I had a great find when I walked into The key west pub. They have great music which they support local bands and teens that have amazing voices. Lets start with the manager pointer, and his colleges are awesome! they have excellent customer service and a suberb attitudes. We tried the Cuban rueben and The Malibu wrap and they were both to die for. They have a new sauce that is excellent with any kind of side as well . My husband ordered two Cubans because they were so good. And he never does that. I highly reccomend this place. They just opened, there local and passionate about there food and business. My wife and I stopped in for a late dinner after looking around Duval Street for gluten free options. I have to honestly say that this may have been the friendliest service we have ever received at a restaurant. After informing the waiter about my wife's gluten intolerance, the owner came over, sat down and started walking her through the menu - offering to modify a number of items to meet her needs. The food was great. I had a conch sandwich with tater tots while my wife had a chicken wrap that they turned into a nice salad with sweet potato fries. The fries were among the best I've had and the dipping sauce - honey mustard with mayo? - was amazing. Our waiter came over to check on us a couple times and passed along some great tips for our stay here in Key West. Apparently, this place has only been open for a couple weeks, but we're rooting for them and will definitely be back later this week for a bite.

Our 2nd and last visit. The service is terrible, waited 12 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us. Asked for lemon three times, was delivered on a napkin. Happy hour here means the starters are cut in half, so really not happy hour. Ordered wings was told would get 6, got 5. Was treated like we were bothering her. The couple next to us also were complaining about the service. There are so many other restaurants on Duval to chose from. This place will be out of business soon.

Inattentive service, underwhelming food. Not bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's a pity the experience wasn't so great, because the location is perfect.

Outstanding food!!! We went there twice in our 1 week stay. Not only is the food delish you can walk out with a bill under 40.00 including a drink. Highly recommend you will not be diappointed. Right on Duval the southern end.

Great atmosphere, staff, drinks and entertainment. But food needs work. They specialize in sliders, but they are fried and greasy. Like fast food. Hope they will start grilling their burgers and then what a great place!

I ordered the conch sliders. Delish!!! Hubby ordered fried fish slides and was equally as impressed. Both played were A little pricey ($13)... But it's key West ! Expect to pay a premium!

This place has great comfort food and drinks for less $$. (well, for Duval st ) good Entertainment with the Spectrels. The real fun is the back bar. Mike the bartender is a blast and the drinks are the best for the money!!

Maybe we just came on a bad day... But it was really bad... $26 for two bland wraps, with no flavor at all, that were sadly surpassed by Taco Bell quality. Maybe they forgot the sauce others speak of? It was far from good. Service was also horrible. We were his only table. He spent most his time sitting at the bar. He didn't do a single refill, and brought us a check after we waited 20+ mins for it....heck he didn't bring a pen to sign the check. Place had a lot of potential. Night staff coming on as we were leaving seemed to be happy and good.

The good was amazing! The waiters recommendation of the lobster sliders was spot on! Whomever makes theirs in house should be selling it! The wait staff was super nice! I got my take home souvenir cup but the voodoo punch that came in was terrible. But if that's the only negative I would absolutely go back!

Unfriendly Eastern European waiters, completely ran-out of many items on the menu, and the rainbow flags outside oversell how gay friendly they are. Food was dry and salty. Won't return, cannot recommend.

I have returned here several times since my 1st review. They are still improving ! So much that this could become my favorite joint. Food is inspirational..Drink prices, Local friendly...Great Music and late night specials...Sliders from Hell !

chicken slider was under cooked. The sliders are way over priced and the waitress walks around with cleaning spray and sprays the tables with chemicals when patrons leave so the other customers get the spray in their direction while they are still eating. Not recommended. Too many other restaurants in KW that want to be in business and are willing to earn the business. Avoid this dive

The sliders were very good. We had the Reuben and fish sliders and liked them both. The tater tots were great, the onion rings ok. The men's bathroom smells like pee.

Read this before you waste any money at this mess. The place being empty on a late afternoon (read: happy hour on duval street) SHOULD have been a warning. Sliders were their thing and we thought that they couldn't mess them up too bad. Walked in and the manager/hostess/attitude told the server with a language barrier "put them somewhere over there in the corner." Everywhere in this place is a corner because they have the stage as center in the space. The cushions and seating were cute but that's about it. dollar well drinks and 3 dollar apps. They couldn't figure out how to make a rum and cranberry, then said they had none? You are a bar, that's a basic need. Whatever they gave me was fine. Plastic cups, cute. Ordered fried mushrooms and chips w queso. Obviously frozen mushrooms that were STILL frozen inside. When we asked the server to deal with the still frozen food he was confused. Woman with an attitude/manager brought them into the kitchen. Chips and queso means stale chips and cheese from a bag. Mushrooms come back, hot as hell. When attitude woman saw me shocked how hot they were i audibly heard her call mr clueless language barrier over and say "first too cold now too hot?" And laugh. Okay.. Anyway I ordered the chicken cheddar ranch sliders and my husband ordered the hickory ones. His were drowning in bbq sauce. Mine were missing cheese and avocado. It was also a pre breaded chicken cutlet cut in half. Sweet potato fries were frozen and gross. Horrible. They never asked if we wanted refills. They never checked on us except to peer over our shoulders. They gave everyone who walked in an attitude. Greet people, don't just tell HOW MANY? If you were a well known place with stellar food I can see why you wouldn't care much about how the public perceives you, but this was horrible. Also, it's pretty sad you have to accost people outside for customers. Tl;dr: Don't go. All frozen. Horrible attitudes. Waste of money. Won't be surprised if they're closed in a few months.

Well on the bright side, the quesadilla, water and ice were fine, there was air conditioning and the lettuce was not wilted. That's about it as far as good parts of this dumpster fire they call a restaurant. When visiting a new restaurant we like to order a bunch of stuff to try a variety. Big Mistake. First, the waitress was thoroughly not in the mood to have a chat and you could not finish a sentence before she was gone which was particularly amusing when I sent back the Reuben "slider" and she said "what's wrong too tough" as she'd obviously heard it before. That wasn't even the worst part of it but I digress. ALL THINGS SLIDER MUST BE AVOIDED. I took a few pictures so you could see for yourself that the chicken was obviously frozen chicken parts ala Chicken McNuggets without as much quality if you catch my drift. Speaking of drift, its hard to imagine how a restaurant could be so lost on Key West that it could not find a fresh fish to put on my fish slider. Get a pole guys for God's sake they are everywhere... Look overall, I would do not question the motives of the other reviewers but have to believe they were friends, family or taste bud impaired (wasted) becuase this food could not have been good a few weeks or months ago and declined this much this fast. Damn if only there had been a Taco Bell around here I could have had a much higher quality meal...

Great food and friendly staff. Kyle offered helpful suggestions and was fantastic with our kids. Chicken quesadilla, blackened chicken wrap and fish slider---all cooked to perfection. Make sure to have the tater tots. They are the best around.

I really want to like the Key West Pub - the food is very good bar grub and they have tots on the menu! Wings are terrific. It's casual and easy and in a good location. Unfortunately, there are issues with the staff - lousy attitudes, inability to work well with others, etc. Shortly after we sat down our server was giving us information that compelled my friend to say to him/her, "We can go somewhere else, if you'd prefer." The staff always does something that drives my fellow diners to give each other a sideways glance. Food is worth the trip, but the servers will let you know your presence is an inconvenience.

What a pleasant find. We were in the mood to try a place that is "new to us", and lucked into this new place. We tried the Cuban Sliders, the Blue-cheese Infused Sliders, and the Sweet Potato Fries....ALL WERE OUTSTANDING! To top it all off, prices were VERY reasonable for Key West, and the service was friendly and attentive. Only open for five months (as of 10/14), I expect Key West Pub to do very well.

The night I went there there the bartenders did not know how to use the system. They charged us 18.50 for a well drink and a tap beer. When I asked how much the tab was, I was told $16.00. I said there is only $2.50 change Do the math. Also, the $2.50 disappeared after the bar tender asked if we needed anything else. We has not finished our drinks. What nerve. At least wait until we finish and get up to leave. We will not be going back.

ambiance was a mix of jazzy live music and sports bar with 4 tvs with games on. Other than the wierd ambiance this place was amazing. Best Cubana sliders I have ever had. Conch sliders were yum and the pub club was yummy. Tutor tots were the best I have had and the tartar sauce was different and amazing. Very flavourful food. Drink wasn't that great: rum punch
